During 2018-19, I was a Research Associate on CineMuseSpace: A Cinematic Musée Imaginaire of Spatial Cultural Differences, which was led by Cambridge University in collaboration with Leicester, Nanjing, and Singapore Universities and other cultural partners. The project sought to generate novel understandings of deeply rooted societal differences in the usage of architecture, experience of space and everyday activities within the home by unlocking culturally significant architectural records folded away in the film medium.
The research project was funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and ran for 24-months until September 2019.
